During the major anti-narcotics operation, authorities seized 227.7 kg of Captagon tablets and powder with an estimated value of ₹182 crore. Officials also arrested a Syrian national allegedly linked to the international syndicate behind the smuggling network.
The NCB has initiated an extensive investigation into the broader international drug trafficking ecosystem, including suspected hawala channels, logistics networks, and cross-border syndicate connections. The operation is being viewed as a significant step in India’s intensified efforts to combat global narcotics trafficking and organized crime.
