Bollywood Diva Anushka Sharma’s Cricketing Session For ChakdaXpress

by Kolkata Today

Anushka Sharma is one of several outsiders in today’s film business who has gradually and methodically developed a brand name for herself. Playing a variety of characters has honed her acting abilities in films, resulting in a rich and excellent career graph.

After a long absence from the big screen, she would be making a comeback with her flick Chakda Xpress, in which she will play India’s fast women bowler, Jhulan Goswami. This will be her first film post-pregnancy, and it is an appropriate one. According to rumours, she has been training 2-3 hours a day, six days a week, perfecting her talents as required of her part in the film. She just released a sneak peek on her official social media profile, captioning it “Get-Sweat-Go! #ChakdaXpress #prep gets hard and intense as we count days.”

Jhulan Goswami, the film’s inspiration, holds the world record for the most wickets in an international cricketing career. In the current ICC World Cup, she tied for the most wickets in World Cup history, matching Lyn Fullston of Australia’s record of 39 wickets taken from 1982 to 1988.

Jhula Goswami is an inspiration in many ways since she overcame several challenges along the road to acquire the position she has now, which is solely due to her hard work and commitment to the game of cricket. As a result, she was appointed captain of the Indian Women’s National Cricket Team, and aspiring female cricketers look up to her. She was also honoured with a commemorative postage stamp in 2018.
