In a detailed post on Truth Social, former U.S. President Donald Trump shared insights into his professional relationship with Tim Cook, highlighting the Apple CEO’s leadership and management abilities.
Trump described how his interaction with Cook began during his first presidential term, recalling a phone call in which Cook sought assistance on a significant issue affecting Apple Inc.. According to Trump, he intervened and resolved the matter swiftly, marking the start of what he called a “long and very nice relationship.”
Reflecting on Cook’s leadership, Trump stated that while he had always admired Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, the company’s success under Cook has been exceptional. He noted that Cook’s approach—directly reaching out instead of relying on high-cost consultants—set him apart as an effective and results-driven leader.
Trump also emphasized that over the years, Cook approached him selectively with key issues, describing him as “an amazing manager and leader” who consistently delivered results efficiently. While acknowledging that not every request was granted, Trump credited Cook for his strategic judgment and ability to execute decisions quickly.
The former president concluded by calling Cook’s career “almost incomparable” and expressed confidence in his continued success at Apple and beyond.
