Taking to social media, Banerjee claimed she has received reports from multiple districts—including Serampore in Hooghly, Krishnanagar in Nadia, Ausgram in Purba Bardhaman, and parts of Kolkata—suggesting that load-shedding is being deliberately imposed in phases.

According to her statement, CCTV cameras in certain locations were reportedly turned off during these outages, while vehicles were seen moving in and out of strong rooms—raising suspicions about the security of stored votes.

Banerjee called upon party workers to remain alert and guard the strong rooms throughout the night. “Be vigilant. Keep watch. Stay awake at night. File complaints,” she urged, emphasizing the need for immediate action if any suspicious activity is detected. She also instructed workers to surround any questionable activity, demand CCTV footage, and lodge complaints without delay.

The Chief Minister further alleged that these actions are being carried out “at the behest of the BJP,” intensifying the political confrontation between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the ruling Trinamool Congress in the state.

The allegations come at a sensitive time, as political tensions remain high over the integrity of the electoral process. Election authorities have yet to issue an official response to these claims.
