Mukesh Ambani Calls for an ‘Aparajita’ India for Women

By Editorial Team
Mukesh Ambani speaks about the spirit of Aparajita and women’s empowerment in India.

Reliance Industries Limited Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani has called for a more empowered and inclusive India where every girl can pursue her dreams and every woman can lead without barriers.

Addressing the importance of resilience and courage, Ambani urged people to draw inspiration from the spirit of “Aparajita”—a symbol of an indomitable woman who refuses to be defeated by challenges.

“Each of us will face moments when the road is difficult, the outcome uncertain, and the temptation to give up very real,” Ambani said, stressing that such moments demand courage, determination and renewed effort.

He said that while individuals may not always be able to control their circumstances, they can choose how they respond to adversity.

“We may not control every circumstance, but we can always summon our courage, the intensity of our effort, and rise again,” he said.

Ambani also outlined a vision of an India where women and girls have the freedom and opportunity to reach their full potential.

“Let us build an India where every girl can dream without limits, every woman can lead without barriers,” he said.

His message placed women’s empowerment, resilience, leadership and equal opportunity at the heart of India’s broader development journey.

The emphasis on the spirit of Aparajita reflects the importance of perseverance in overcoming challenges and creating a society where women can participate and lead across every sphere.
