Piyush Goyal Calls for Business-Centric BRICS to Drive Growth
Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal addressed the BRICS Business Forum, welcoming industry leaders and delegates from across BRICS member nations to India. He stressed that a people-centric BRICS must be complemented by a business-centric approach to unlock new opportunities for economic growth and collaboration.

During his address, Goyal highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation in trade facilitation, digital commerce, MSME integration, resilient supply chains, and a rules-based multilateral economic framework. He said these areas would play a key role in accelerating sustainable and inclusive growth across BRICS economies.
The Minister also underlined that India's BRICS Chairship is guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Building Resilience & Innovation for Cooperation & Sustainability." He expressed confidence that the grouping would work together to build a more resilient, innovative and inclusive future, particularly for the nations of the Global South.
