PM Modi Remembers Quit India Movement Heroes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembers participants of the Quit India Movement and their contribution to India’s freedom struggle.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday remembered the brave participants of the historic Quit India Movement, praising their courage and determination in India’s freedom struggle.

Sharing a message on social media, PM Modi said the courage of those who took part in the movement will continue to inspire every Indian.

He recalled that, inspired by the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, the clarion call of “Quit India” injected new energy into the freedom struggle and reflected the unwavering determination of Indians to break free from colonial rule.

The Quit India Movement, launched in August 1942, became one of the defining mass movements of India’s struggle for independence.
PM Modi paid tribute to all those who contributed to the historic movement and highlighted their enduring contribution to the nation’s journey towards freedom.
