In the second innings of the first Test between India vs Bangladesh, two Indian batsmen have scored centuries. Opener Shubhman Gill has scored the first Test century of his career. Whereas Cheteshwar Pujara has hit a hundred after 3 years. Pujara has scored the fastest century of his career.

Shubhman Gill-Cheteshwar Pujara Century. In the second innings of the first test match between India vs Bangladesh, two players of India have scored a brilliant century. Cheteshwar Pujara, who scored 90 runs in the first innings, did not miss in the second innings and scored the fastest century of his career. At the same time, Team India’s opener Shubman Gill has scored the first test century of his career. On the basis of the century of both the players, India declared the second innings for 258 runs and gave Bangladesh a target of 512 runs to win.

Shubman Gill’s first test century
Indian team batsman Shubman Gill has scored a brilliant century and this is the first century of his Test career. Earlier, Gill had played an innings of 91 runs against Australia but could not score a century. Since then 700 days have passed and now the first century has come out from the bat of Shubman. Recently, Shubman Gill’s form has been excellent and from T20 to ODI cricket and now in Tests too, he is spreading fire. Against Bangladesh, Shubman Gill scored a century off 147 balls in which he hit 10 fours and 2 brilliant sixes. This innings will be remembered for Gill because on the score of 95 he first hit a reverse sweep four and then on 99 he completed the century by hitting a four over long on.

Pujara scored a century after 3 years
Indian team’s middle order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara scored 90 runs in the first innings against Bangladesh but he was dismissed. However, in the second innings, he made no mistake and scored the fastest century of his career. Pujara scored an unbeaten 102 off 130 balls. Earlier, he had scored a century in 2019. Since then, he has scored a century after a total of 52 innings. This is the 19th century of his Test career. Cheteshwar Pujara had a great partnership with Shreyas Iyer in the first innings and in the second innings he had a great partnership with Shubman Gill.

India gave a target of 512 runs
Three days of play has come to an end in the Bangladesh vs India match. India scored 404 runs in the first innings and Bangladesh’s first innings was reduced to just 150 runs. Cheteshwar Pujara and Shubman Gill scored brilliant centuries in the second innings and India declared at 258 for 2. Team India has set a target of 512 runs in front of Bangladesh.
