JD Vance: 12.5M Barrels Passed Through Hormuz Overnight

Strait of Hormuz Oil Flow reached a new high since the start of the conflict, with 12.5 million barrels of oil passing through the strategic waterway overnight, according to US Vice President JD Vance.

Vance said the volume marks the highest level recorded since hostilities began in the region, signaling improved stability in global energy transportation despite ongoing geopolitical tensions.

The Vice President also highlighted a decline in energy costs, noting that oil prices have fallen to nearly the same levels seen before the conflict. He added that gasoline prices in the United States dropped below $4 per gallon for the first time since the conflict began.

Vance expressed confidence that fuel prices would continue to decrease, offering relief to consumers and businesses while easing concerns over global energy supply disruptions.
