Ahead of the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari flagged off the "CITY OF JOY – Daud Se Dhyan 2026" Marathon in Kolkata, highlighting the importance of fitness, wellness, cleanliness, and civic responsibility.

Sharing moments from the event on social media, the Chief Minister said the marathon, organized under the Swachhata Se Swagat Programme, reflects the shared commitment towards a healthier and cleaner society. Thousands of participants joined the run, showcasing enthusiasm and support for the message of holistic well-being.

Adhikari praised the citizens for their energetic participation and emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into daily life. He noted that initiatives like these help build a cleaner, greener, and fitter society while promoting physical and mental wellness.
