Yogi Adityanath in Bengal: “State Pushed to Poverty by Congress, Left, TMC”

By Editorial Team 👁 33
In a sharp political attack during a public meeting in Bankura, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted that West Bengal is on the brink of a major political transformation. Addressing a large gathering, he claimed that the state has “embarked on a new path of change,” signaling a potential shift in the political landscape. Criticising the current and previous regimes, Adityanath said it was “sad to see the plight of Bengal today.” He blamed successive governments for the state’s challenges, stating that West Bengal was first pushed towards poverty by the Congress, then by the Left Front, and over the past fifteen years by the ruling All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). The remarks come at a time when political activity is intensifying in West Bengal, with national leaders stepping up their campaigns and outreach efforts. Adityanath’s speech is seen as part of a broader strategy to strengthen his party’s position in the state ahead of upcoming elections. The rally in Bankura witnessed significant public participation, reflecting the growing political momentum in the region. Observers note that such high-profile visits and statements are likely to further heat up the political atmosphere in West Bengal in the coming months.
