US President Donald Trump launched a fierce attack on Iran and former President Barack Obama in a lengthy post shared on Truth Social, accusing Tehran of “playing games” with the United States for nearly five decades.
In the strongly worded statement, Trump criticized the Obama administration’s handling of Iran, alleging that billions of dollars were handed over to Tehran during negotiations related to the Iran nuclear deal. Trump claimed the financial relief gave Iran “a major and very powerful new lease on life” and accused the former administration of weakening America’s allies, including Israel.

The President also accused Iran of supporting violence against Americans and suppressing domestic protests. Trump asserted that Iran “will be laughing no longer,” signaling a tougher stance if he returns to office.
Trump’s remarks come amid renewed global tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear activities, regional security concerns, and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East.
The comments have already sparked intense political debate online, with supporters praising Trump’s hardline approach while critics accused him of escalating rhetoric during a sensitive international climate.
