West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari Announces Ayushman Bharat Rollout, BSF Land Transfer Process

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari thanked voters, the Election Commission, Central Forces, police personnel, observers, and political parties following the recent political developments in the state.

Addressing the media, the Chief Minister also referred to the 321 people who allegedly lost their lives during the political struggle, stating that the government is prepared to initiate investigations if their families seek official probes.

Suvendu Adhikari further announced that the process of transferring land in border areas to the Border Security Force (BSF) for strengthening border security has begun and is expected to be completed within 45 days.

In a major welfare announcement, the Chief Minister confirmed that the Centre’s flagship healthcare initiative, Ayushman Bharat, will now be implemented in West Bengal. He added that the Prime Minister’s Jan Arogya Yojana and other central welfare schemes will also be introduced in the state.
