Manchester United’s new signing Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has shared his delight after getting of to a winning start with Manchester United on Saturday afternoon at Southampton.
United triumphed 1-0 in a closely fought contest, in which Casemiro made his United debut from the bench, coming on as an 80th minute substitute.
Bruno Fernandes’ second-half strike earned Manchester United a 1-0 win at Southampton, helping the Red Devils secure back-to-back league wins for the first time since February.
After the match, Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag spoke about Casemiro ‘s debut in Manchester United colours,Erik ten Hag said,“I think it was quite good for him to see what the Premier League is.”
“It’s a different style, he has now a pre-season, he played some games, he played one time 90 minutes, but he is fit.
He had a good pre-season with a lot of training sessions and now we have to integrate him in the team in a way of play and to integrate him with his teammates,”Erik ten Hag added.
