Amit Shah Hails BJP’s Massive Win in Gujarat Local Body Elections, Credits Modi’s Development Model

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday lauded the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) emphatic victory in the Gujarat local body elections, calling it a strong endorsement of the party’s governance and development agenda.

In a statement shared on social media, Shah said that the overwhelming mandate reflects the unwavering trust of the people of Gujarat in the BJP’s commitment to service and development. He highlighted that for over three decades, the citizens of the state have consistently backed the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party’s development-oriented model—from grassroots panchayats to the national Parliament.

Expressing gratitude, Shah extended his “crores of salutations” to the people of Gujarat for their continued support and faith in the BJP.

He also congratulated Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, along with party leaders and workers, for their efforts in securing the victory. Shah praised the dedication and hard work of BJP cadres, stating that their commitment played a crucial role in achieving the landslide win.

The results are being viewed as a significant political boost for the BJP in its stronghold state, reinforcing its dominance in local governance and further strengthening its position ahead of upcoming electoral battles.
