Amit Shah Slams Mamata Over Three New Justice Codes, Cites ‘Fear to Trust’
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has accused former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of not implementing the three new justice codes, alleging that the decision was aimed at protecting the “empire of syndicates, cut money, and fear.”

Sharing his remarks on social media, Shah said that the BJP implemented the three new justice codes soon after forming the government in West Bengal.
He said the move was part of the BJP’s promise to replace a climate of “fear” with “trust” and claimed that the implementation marked the fulfilment of the party’s commitment to strengthening the justice system in the state.
Shah’s remarks come amid the BJP government’s broader focus on implementing the new criminal laws and reshaping the state’s law-and-order framework.
