India's Broad-Based Medal Campaign
India's performance has been spread across a wide variety of disciplines.
Archery and shooting have been major contributors, while wrestling, athletics and boxing have also produced important medals.
Team sports have added further highlights, with India achieving significant results in cricket, hockey and kabaddi. Golf and other emerging medal-winning disciplines have also contributed to the overall tally.
The breadth of India's medal-winning sports has been one of the notable features of its Aichi-Nagoya campaign.
Only the equestrian individual jumping event stands between the Day 14 standings and the completion of the medal programme. Once that final competition concludes, the Asian Games will move into their closing ceremony and officially bring the Aichi-Nagoya sporting spectacle to an end.
