Cabinet Congratulates PM Modi on 25 Years in Government
The Union Cabinet passed a resolution congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years as the head of government. Prime Minister Modi first assumed office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and went on to become the Prime Minister of India in 2014.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that Prime Minister Modi’s 25-year tenure reflects the strength and resilience of Indian democracy. He highlighted the milestone as a significant moment in the country’s democratic journey.
