US President Donald Trump presented the prestigious National Medal of Science to NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, recognising his contributions to computing technology and his role in advancing artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing and semiconductor innovation.
Huang co-founded NVIDIA and helped transform the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) into a general-purpose computing architecture, accelerating advances in AI, supercomputing, advanced chips, robotics and data centre technology. His contributions have helped shape the modern AI revolution and strengthen America's position in advanced computing.
