Cape Verde Continue Fairytale With Uruguay Draw

Cape Verde continued their remarkable FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign by securing a hard-fought 2-2 draw against former world champions Uruguay at Miami Stadium, extending their unbeaten run against football heavyweights after a goalless draw with Spain.

The island nation stunned Uruguay by taking an early lead through a moment of brilliance from Kevin Pina.
