Chennai Airport Opens New Cab Pick-up Plaza at T1

A new Cab Pick-up Plaza at Terminal-1 of Chennai Airport has been inaugurated to provide passengers with a more organised, convenient and seamless cab pick-up experience.

Hon’ble Union Minister for Civil Aviation Shri @RamMNK virtually inaugurated the new Cab Pick-up Plaza at Terminal-1 of Chennai Airport, in the august presence of MoS Shri @mohol_murlidhar, Secretary MoCA Shri @samirsinha69 and Chairman, AAI Shri @vipinkumarIAS.

Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu virtually inaugurated the new facility in the presence of MoS Murlidhar Mohol, Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha, and AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar.

The newly established plaza is aimed at streamlining cab pick-up operations at the airport and making onward travel smoother for passengers. The facility is expected to improve the overall ground transportation experience by providing a more structured pick-up area.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation said it remains committed to strengthening passenger-centric infrastructure and enhancing the overall airport experience through improved facilities and services.
