CRPF Valor Day: Amit Shah Salutes Courage and Sacrifice of India’s Bravehearts

Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid heartfelt tributes to the brave personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force on the occasion of CRPF Valor Day, commemorating their extraordinary courage and sacrifice. In a message shared on social media, Shah saluted the indomitable spirit of the force, recalling the historic events of 1965 when CRPF soldiers displayed unmatched bravery at Sardar Post in the Rann of Kutch. He highlighted how, on this day, CRPF personnel stood “like an unbreakable wall” against enemy advances, successfully defending the post and scripting a glorious chapter in India’s military history. The Home Minister also paid homage to the martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation’s honor and security, emphasizing that their legacy continues to inspire generations. CRPF Valor Day is observed every year to honor the courage and dedication of the force, particularly remembering the heroic stand during the 1965 conflict that showcased exceptional resilience and patriotism.
