By Editorial Team
Emma Finucane, Louise Hoskins and New Zealand celebrate historic achievements during Day 10 of the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026.

Day 10 of the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026 produced a series of memorable moments as athletes created history across bowls, cycling, netball and judo.

Norfolk Island celebrated a landmark achievement after Shae Wilson secured bronze in the Women's Singles, earning the island's first medal of the Glasgow Games and only the third Commonwealth Games medal in its history. Wilson dedicated the achievement to her close-knit community back home.

Australia's Louise Hoskins etched her name into the record books by becoming the oldest Commonwealth Games gold medallist at 76 years and 173 days. Alongside Serena Bonnell, Hoskins won the Para Women's Pairs B6-B8 title, surpassing the previous age record set by Scotland's George Miller at Birmingham 2022.

At the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Wales' Emma Finucane claimed gold in the Women's Keirin, defeating New Zealand's Ellesse Andrews and Australia's Kristina Clonan. The victory made Finucane the first Welsh woman to win four gold medals at a single Commonwealth Games.

Cycling also witnessed Games records from England's Matthew Robertson, who won the Men's C1-C3 3000m Individual Pursuit, and Australia's Leigh Hoffman, who set a new benchmark in the Men's 1000m Time Trial. Hoffman concluded an outstanding campaign with three gold medals and one silver.

In netball, New Zealand's Silver Ferns defeated Jamaica 56-48 to capture their first Commonwealth Games gold since 2010. Australia secured bronze after a convincing 68-50 victory over England.

The judo competition ended with more historic milestones. Giannis Antoniou delivered Cyprus' first gold medal of Glasgow 2026 by winning the Men's +100kg title. The Bahamas celebrated their first-ever

Commonwealth Games judo medal as Karra Hanna claimed bronze in the Women's +78kg event, while Paula Monta earned bronze for Tonga, giving the Pacific nation its first Commonwealth Games medal since 2010.

With remarkable records, emotional firsts and outstanding performances, Day 10 added another unforgettable chapter to the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026.
