DeSu7: Dev Thanks Subho for Supporting His Directorial Debut
KT- DeSu7

DeSu7 has become a special chapter in Dev’s career, marking his first venture as a director. Ahead of the film’s journey, Dev has expressed heartfelt gratitude to actor Subho for standing by him at a time when the project was still taking shape.

In a personal note, Dev recalled the uncertainty surrounding his decision to take the directorial leap.

According to him, Subho chose to support DeSu7 without even knowing the script, title or the eventual form the film would take.

For Dev, that early trust became one of the most meaningful aspects of his directorial journey.

Subho’s Early Support for DeSu7

Reflecting on the making of DeSu7, Dev said that Subho’s decision to come on board was particularly significant because it came at a challenging stage.

Dev recalled that he was facing uncertainty over the release of a film during the Durga Puja window when Subho decided to stand beside him and say yes to the new project.

What made the gesture even more meaningful, Dev noted, was that Subho agreed to be part of DeSu7 without knowing the complete script or even the title.

The filmmaker-actor described that confidence as an important source of encouragement as he prepared to take on the responsibilities of directing a film for the first time.

A Long Professional Association

Dev also reflected on his longstanding association with Subho. While the two have known each other for many years, working together on DeSu7 gave Dev a different perspective on the actor’s professional and personal growth.

He praised Subho for evolving not only as an actor but also as an individual. Dev highlighted his ability to balance his professional responsibilities and private life while remaining grounded.

According to Dev, watching that growth throughout the journey of DeSu7 was a special experience.

DeSu7 Marks a New Chapter for Dev
For Dev, DeSu7 represents more than just another film. It marks an important transition in his career as he steps into the director’s chair for the first time.

The actor-turned-filmmaker acknowledged that making a first film comes with considerable uncertainty. However, the support of people who believe in a creative vision before seeing the finished product can make that journey more meaningful.

Dev said that one of the biggest takeaways from his directorial debut has been the experience of working with people who trusted his vision even before they knew exactly what that vision would become.

That sentiment forms an important part of his message to Subho.

Keeping the Spirit of DeSu Alive

Dev also credited Subho with helping keep the affection and spirit associated with DeSu alive among fans over the years.

The filmmaker expressed appreciation for Subho’s contribution to maintaining that connection with audiences while DeSu7 moved towards its next chapter.

For fans who have followed the journey of the franchise, the continued association between the artistes adds another layer of interest to the upcoming project.

Dev’s Message to Subho

In his note, Dev thanked Subho for standing by him, trusting him and becoming part of the DeSu7 journey.

He also expressed gratitude for the actor’s role in keeping the love for DeSu alive among fans.

Dev described Subho’s belief in him and in the idea behind DeSu7 as something for which he would remain thankful.

The message ended with Dev wishing Subho the very best for the future and acknowledging the importance of the bond they have built through their professional journey.
