Scindia at Digital BRICS Forum: “Pune Is a Hub for Innovation”

Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia and Pemmasani address the Digital BRICS Forum and Expo in Pune.

The Digital BRICS Forum and Expo was held in Pune, bringing together governments, industry leaders, academia, startups and research institutions to explore pathways towards building inclusive, secure and resilient digital ecosystems.

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia welcomed visiting delegations at the event and highlighted Pune’s role as a hub for ideas, innovation and shared aspirations.

The forum provided a platform for stakeholders from across the BRICS community to exchange perspectives on digital transformation, technological innovation and the development of sustainable digital ecosystems.

Union Minister of State for Communications Pemmasani also highlighted India’s journey towards building sustainable digital ecosystems. He noted that India’s infrastructure story is no longer limited to traditional physical infrastructure such as roads, ports and power grids.

The discussions underscored the growing importance of digital infrastructure in driving economic growth, innovation and inclusive development.


With governments, businesses, startups, researchers and academic institutions participating, the Digital BRICS Forum and Expo served as a platform for collaboration and the exchange of ideas on shaping a secure, resilient and inclusive digital future.
