Scindia Pitches Human-Centred Technology at BRICS Communications Meet

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia outlines India’s digital vision at the 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting in Pune

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has outlined India’s vision for a resilient, trusted, innovative and inclusive digital future at the 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting held in Pune.

Sharing his message on social media, Scindia said India’s approach is guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to Digital India and focused on turning international cooperation into tangible outcomes for people.

Under the theme of “Innovate, Cooperate and Transform for a Resilient Future,” Scindia highlighted key areas including bridging the digital divide, building digital resilience, fostering innovation, strengthening capacity and enabling sustainable digital transformation.

India also proposed concrete initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation among BRICS nations and ensuring that technological progress delivers wider social and economic benefits.

Scindia said the initiatives are anchored in Bharat’s core ethos of “Humanity First,” stressing the need to give innovation purpose, technology a human face and the digital future a human heart.

The minister’s remarks underline India’s emphasis on using digital technology not only as an engine of innovation and growth but also as a tool for inclusion, empowerment and resilient development.
