EU, UK Sign €90bn Ukraine Defence Loan Agreement
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the European Union and the United Kingdom have reached an agreement paving the way for the UK to participate in the EU's €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan.

According to von der Leyen, the agreement will expand Ukraine's access to a broader network of defence suppliers, enabling Kyiv to procure the military equipment and resources it urgently needs on the battlefield.

Highlighting continued European unity, she stated that the partnership reinforces collective efforts to support Ukraine's resistance against Russian aggression and strengthens long-term European security cooperation.
