Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 Bengal celebrations at the Executive Palace Apartment Owners’ Association on VIP Road, Baguiati, are bringing together devotion, artistic expression and a socially relevant message through this year’s distinctive theme, “Parivartan – Towards a Developed Bengal with a Double Engine Government.”

The six-day celebration at Executive Palace combines traditional religious activities with an elaborate artistic installation designed around the ideas of transformation, progress, development and the aspirations of Bengal. The celebration has attracted residents, public representatives, artists and several eminent personalities.

The inauguration was attended by Sri Dilip Ghosh, Minister of State for Agricultural Marketing Department, Government of West Bengal; Sri Tarunjyoti Tewari, MLA; Mr Jitendra Kumar Tewari, MLA; Mr Amit Agarwal, Producer; and other distinguished personalities.

Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 Bengal Celebrates the Theme of ‘Parivartan’

The central theme of this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 Bengal celebration at Executive Palace is “Parivartan.” The organisers have used the theme to present their vision of a Bengal that is progressive, confident, secure and full of opportunities.

According to the organisers, the theme seeks to connect the spiritual significance of Ganesh Chaturthi with a broader visual narrative about development and transformation.

The celebration uses art and design to depict the journey from challenges towards possibilities. Through the elaborate installation, visitors are invited to explore a visual representation of aspirations linked to infrastructure, connectivity, employment, industrial development and urban growth.

Six-Day Celebration Brings Together Faith and Art

The six-day programme is designed to combine religious devotion with community participation and artistic presentation. Residents of Executive Palace are participating in the celebrations, which will continue with various religious and community activities.

The organisers have sought to make the festival more than a traditional religious gathering by incorporating a theme-based artistic presentationThe result is a celebration where devotion, creativity and a message of social aspiration come together.

The festivities will culminate with a Hawan involving residents, followed by Ganesh Visarjan on September 18.

11-Foot Lord Ganesha in a Royal Setting

One of the biggest attractions of the Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 Bengal celebration at Executive Palace is an elaborate artistic installation conceptualised by renowned artist Shri Mintu Pal.

The installation features an imposing 11-foot-tall Lord Ganesha presented in a royal setting. The artistic design gives the idol a distinctive appearance while connecting the representation of Lord Ganesha with the central theme of the celebration.

Lord Ganesha is dressed in a white kurta and orange pagdi. According to the concept presented by the organisers, the depiction symbolises qualities such as wisdom, responsibility, visionary leadership and good governance.

Mr Ankit Agarwal, Secretary of the Executive Palace Apartment Owners’ Association, explained the significance of this year's theme.
He said the essence of “Parivartan – Towards a Developed Bengal with a Double Engine Government” is to showcase a journey from challenges to possibilities and express the aspiration for a Bengal that is progressive, confident, secure and full of opportunities.

According to Agarwal, the artistic presentation seeks to portray how development can transform everyday life, including through better connectivity, modern infrastructure, industrial growth, employment opportunities, planned urban development and stronger governance.
