Haaland scored his 10th Premier League goal in only his sixth match, equalling a record that Mick Quinn set for Coventry City in December 1992.
But a brilliant strike from Leon Bailey salvaged a point for Steven Gerrard’s side who kept the champions in second place while Villa are 17th.

After the match Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said ,”Good game. We conceded just one goal from one shot on target in 90 minutes. We were not precise in our final third touches and our simple things, especially in the first half. We had chances to score a second when the game was in our hands but we didn’t.”
