Jaishankar and Nialé Kaba Discuss Expanding India-Côte d’Ivoire Cooperation
External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar met Nialé Kaba, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Côte d’Ivoire, in Abidjan on Wednesday.

Jaishankar said he was pleased to meet Kaba and held comprehensive discussions on strengthening the partnership between India and Côte d’Ivoire.
The discussions covered several key areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare and people-to-people ties.
Jaishankar underlined that India's people-centric cooperation with Côte d’Ivoire would be guided by and driven by the priorities of the Ivorian people and government.
The two sides also discussed ways to further deepen cooperation in multilateral forums, reflecting the shared interest of India and Côte d’Ivoire in strengthening coordination on international issues.
The meeting comes as India continues to deepen its engagement with African partners, with a focus on development-oriented cooperation, economic partnerships and stronger people-to-people connections.
