Sinner explained that while Grand Slam victories are unforgettable, they represent only a handful of moments in a long career.
"There's no failure if you don't win a Grand Slam. It's very, very rare days. Now I have five in my whole life. We talk about five Grand Slams, but at the end of the day these are five days of so many other days. You just want to enjoy it."
The world champion also revealed that even if the Wimbledon final had ended in defeat, he would still have cherished the occasion.
"Today was a very tough day. If I lose, it's still a great day. Playing a Grand Slam final is so rare and so special. Of course, if I choose, I choose this outcome."
