Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Department Promotions Benefit 1,500 Staff
Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Department promotions have benefited around 1,500 officers and employees, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said while attending a ceremony in Bhopal to honour and thank Agriculture Department personnel who received promotions.
The Chief Minister said the state government is also preparing to recruit for around 1,500 new posts in the department this year.
Mohan Yadav Announces 1,500 New Recruitments
Speaking at the programme, Mohan Yadav said around 1,500 officers and employees had received promotions.
He added that recruitment for another 1,500 posts would be undertaken during the year, expanding employment opportunities within the department.
The announcement comes amid the state government's broader focus on clearing pending employee-related matters, including promotions, recruitment and compassionate appointments.

300 Compassionate Appointment Cases Resolved
The Chief Minister also said that around 300 compassionate appointment cases had already been resolved.
“We will soon bring this figure down to zero.”
He said instructions had been issued to ensure that compassionate appointment cases are not kept pending and are addressed without unnecessary delay.
