,Mamata Banerjee has called on party leaders and candidates to rebuild the organization following the party’s setback in the recent assembly elections, asserting that the party would emerge stronger despite the defeat.

During a meeting with Trinamool Congress candidates who contested the assembly polls at her Kalighat residence on Friday, attended by Abhishek Banerjee, the TMC chief reportedly delivered a strong message on strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level.
According to party sources, Banerjee said that those who wished to leave the party were free to do so and emphasized that the organization would be rebuilt afresh. She reportedly instructed party workers and leaders to restore and reopen damaged party offices across regions.
“Those who are leaving for other parties, let them go. I will rebuild the party afresh. To those who are staying, I say rebuild the damaged party offices, paint them and reopen them. If needed, I too will paint them. Trinamool Congress will never bow down. People’s mandate has been looted,” she was quoted as saying.
The remarks come after the Trinamool Congress faced a major electoral setback in the recently concluded assembly elections, with the leadership now shifting focus toward organizational restructuring and revival efforts.
