Nirmala Sitharaman Gen Z Gen Alpha message focused on youth leadership, national responsibility and civic duty as Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman urged young graduates to step forward and contribute to the country's development.
Addressing the 36th convocation ceremony of Dr M G R Educational & Research Institute, Sitharaman called upon graduates belonging to the Gen Z and Gen Alpha generations to assume leadership in their respective fields. She encouraged them to think about what they can contribute to the nation rather than focusing only on what the country can provide to them.
The Finance Minister said India was ready to listen to the aspirations of its young population but emphasised that young people must also recognise their responsibilities towards society and the country.
