'Magical moment': Nora Fatehi describes her World Cup experience
Actor, dancer and singer Nora Fatehi has spoken of her FIFA World Cup 2026 experience, describing it as a culmination of years of hard work after sharing the global stage with international stars at football's biggest event.
Fatehi, who performed the official World Cup track "Siir Siir" at the tournament's opening ceremony in Toronto alongside music producer Sanjoy and French artist Vegedream, said the moment was deeply emotional and professionally validating.
Speaking about the experience, the 33-year-old said she had spent her entire career working towards opportunities of this magnitude.
She credited three specific nations for defining her personal and professional identity.
"I wanna thank India, Morocco, and Canada for building me into the artist and human I am today! Canada gave me the base, Morocco gave me the roots, and India gave me the wings to fly!" she wrote, expressing gratitude to the Indian entertainment industry for launching her into global stardom.
"What a Magical moment! I needed some time to take all of it in! This journey of mine has been an incredible roller coaster ride!.
"I am very grateful and thankful to everyone who posted, supported, and spoke positively about my journey and this moment!"
