Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal addressed the Global Ambassadors Meet organized by the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil) and officially launched the 12th edition of the International Pharmaceutical Exhibition (iPHEX) 2026.

The flagship event is expected to attract leading pharmaceutical companies, healthcare innovators, and more than 600 overseas buyers from across the world, reinforcing India's position as a trusted global hub for pharmaceutical excellence and healthcare solutions.

Speaking at the event, Goyal emphasized the rapid growth of India's pharmaceutical sector and its contribution to improving healthcare outcomes worldwide through the supply of affordable and high-quality medicines.

He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Healthcare for All" and underscored how the Indian pharmaceutical industry is transforming lives globally. The minister noted that the sector's success is driven by three key pillars—Trust, Innovation, and Partnership—which continue to strengthen India's reputation in international healthcare markets.

iPHEX 2026 is expected to serve as a major platform for business collaboration, investment opportunities, export promotion, and knowledge exchange among global stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and healthcare ecosystem.
