PM Modi Arrives in Seychelles on State Visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Seychelles on a State Visit on Saturday and received a ceremonial welcome at the airport from Seychelles President Dr. Patrick Herminie, who personally welcomed the Indian leader.

As a special gesture, Prime Minister Modi was accorded a Ceremonial Guard of Honour upon his arrival, underscoring the close and longstanding ties between India and Seychelles.

During the visit, Prime Minister Modi will attend the historic 50th anniversary of Seychelles' Independence celebrations as the Guest of Honour, becoming the first-ever Indian Prime Minister to participate in the country's National Day celebrations.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the strategic partnership between India and Seychelles, with discussions likely to focus on maritime security, development cooperation, regional connectivity and expanding bilateral relations across key sectors.
