PM Modi Hails Kutch Dance Welcome in Seychelles

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday shared his appreciation after receiving a unique cultural welcome upon his arrival in Seychelles, where members of the Indian diaspora performed a traditional dance from Kutch.

Sharing the moment on social media, the Prime Minister wrote, "Amazing cultural connect! The welcome at the airport in Seychelles included a dance from Kutch."
PM Modi also lauded the Indian community in Seychelles for preserving and celebrating India's rich cultural traditions across generations.

"The manner in which our diaspora has preserved and celebrated culture from different parts of India is appreciable," he said.

The cultural performance highlighted the deep people-to-people ties between India and Seychelles during the Prime Minister's historic State Visit. PM Modi is in Seychelles as the Guest of Honour for the country's 50th Independence Day celebrations, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to attend the nation's National Day festivities.
