The Indian team secured the bronze with a combined score of 331 points, finishing behind China and Kazakhstan. Raiza Dhillon and Parinaaz Dhaliwal contributed 111 points each, while Maheshwari Chauhan added 109 to India’s total.
In his message, PM Modi congratulated the three shooters and highlighted their focus, precision and teamwork, while wishing them success in their upcoming endeavours.
The medal marks another podium finish for India’s shooting contingent at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, adding to the country’s medal tally in the sport.
