Congratulating Poland on its GDP crossing the historic $1 trillion milestone, he also highlighted India's strong economic performance, with a growth rate of 7.8% in the last quarter, as mentioned in his statement.
India-EU Trade Deal to Open New Export Opportunities
The Prime Minister said the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) would create new opportunities for the India-Poland partnership. Once implemented, the agreement is expected to open up export opportunities for Indian products, including machinery, chemicals, plastics and engineering goods, in the Polish market.
He also identified advanced manufacturing, food processing, biotechnology, railways and mobility as key sectors likely to attract fresh investments from Poland into India.
Business Cooperation and 2030 Trade Target
Welcoming Prime Minister Donald Tusk's business delegation, PM Modi expressed confidence that companies from both countries would work together to develop trusted global supply chains.
He also reiterated the shared ambition of expanding bilateral trade by 2030, underlining the importance of stronger business partnerships, investment flows and industrial cooperation.
The high-level engagement is expected to provide fresh momentum to the India-Poland strategic partnership, with economic growth, technological innovation and trade expansion emerging as key areas of cooperation.
