Sharing the announcement on social media, the Prime Minister said the airport features advanced infrastructure and cutting-edge technologies designed to provide passengers with a seamless travel experience. He emphasized that the new international airport will play a key role in boosting tourism, trade, investment and employment across the state.

The Prime Minister also highlighted that the terminal building reflects the rich cultural identity of Andhra Pradesh, blending modern architecture with the state's heritage.

Named after legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju, the airport stands as a tribute to India's proud heritage while symbolizing optimism and progress for the future.

The inauguration marks a major milestone in India's aviation infrastructure, with the Bhogapuram airport expected to emerge as a key gateway for domestic and international travelers, further supporting economic development and regional connectivity in Andhra Pradesh.
