Sharing the update on social media, Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude to President Mirziyoyev for the special gesture and highlighted the significance of his visit to Uzbekistan.
“Landed in Tashkent to a warm welcome by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Grateful to him for the special gesture,” PM Modi said.
Prime Minister Modi also noted that this is his fourth visit to Uzbekistan, describing it as a reflection of the depth and growing momentum of bilateral relations between India and Uzbekistan.
The visit comes as both countries seek to further strengthen their strategic partnership and expand cooperation across areas of mutual interest.
In his Uzbek-language message, PM Modi similarly conveyed his gratitude for the warm welcome and underlined the strengthening and growing momentum of relations between the two countries.
