PM Modi, Macron Launch Bharat Innovates to Boost India-Europe Innovation Partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly launched the Bharat Innovates initiative, a landmark platform aimed at strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment partnerships between India and Europe.

Addressing the gathering at the event, Prime Minister Modi expressed gratitude to President Macron for joining the launch and recalled the French leader’s vision of India and France working together to tackle the challenges of the 21st century.

“Today, we are very happy that we are launching Bharat Innovates together with France as well. I express my heartfelt gratitude to my friend President Macron for coming here on this occasion,” PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister noted that during President Macron’s visit to India, he had emphasized the need for India and France to collaborate in finding solutions to global challenges. Modi said the Bharat Innovates initiative represents a significant step toward realizing that shared vision.

Highlighting the platform’s broader impact, PM Modi described Bharat Innovates as a vital link connecting India’s growing pool of talent with European investment and expertise.

“This Bharat Innovates platform is becoming a bridge between India's talent and European capital. It is a platform where India's young minds are getting the opportunity to connect with European expertise,” he added.

The initiative is expected to create new opportunities for startups, innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors from both India and Europe. By fostering collaboration in emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, sustainability, digital transformation, and research-driven innovation, Bharat Innovates aims to accelerate economic growth and technological advancement across regions.

The launch also reflects the strengthening strategic partnership between India and France, with both countries placing innovation at the heart of their future cooperation agenda.

As India and France celebrate the Year of Innovation, Bharat Innovates is expected to serve as a catalyst for deeper engagement between innovators, businesses, investors, and academic institutions, reinforcing the shared commitment of both nations to shaping solutions for a rapidly evolving world.
