PM Modi Praises Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar’s Courage
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar through a video call and praised his courage, presence of mind and composure during a critical situation.
During the conversation, PM Modi told Captain Smit that the entire country was praying for him and his recovery. He also said that Maha Mrityunjay Jaap was being performed for his health and well-being.
Praising the captain’s actions, PM Modi said that his courage, presence of mind and composure had helped save many lives.
“The whole country is praying for you. Maha Mrityunjay Jaap is being done for you and your health. Your courage, presence of mind and composure saved many lives,” PM Modi told Captain Smit.
The Prime Minister further highlighted the spirit of selflessness demonstrated by the captain, saying that India could proudly say that Indians are not those who take lives, but people who are willing to risk their own lives to save others.
The interaction underscored the courage and composure displayed by Captain Smit Machchhar in the face of a life-threatening situation, while PM Modi conveyed the nation’s prayers and appreciation for his actions.
