Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks at the launch of Ram Nath Kovind’s autobiography.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised former President Ram Nath Kovind’s life journey and contributions to Indian society and the nation, saying his autobiography could become a cherished legacy for Indian democracy.

Speaking at the book launch event, PM Modi said that based on his understanding of Kovind’s life and his knowledge of his capabilities, he was confident that the autobiography would have lasting significance.

Modi said there was much he could speak about Kovind’s journey and his contribution to society and the country. However, he described the launch event as only a “curtain-raiser” and encouraged people to read the book themselves to gain a fuller understanding of Kovind’s life.

The Prime Minister’s remarks highlighted Kovind’s public life and his contribution to India’s democratic and social landscape.
