Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to undertake a major six-day official visit to the UAE, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy from May 15 to 20, 2026, in a bid to further strengthen India’s strategic and economic partnerships with key nations in the Gulf and Europe.
The visit will feature bilateral meetings with top leaders, diplomatic engagements, and participation in the 3rd India-Nordic Summit in Oslo. Discussions during the tour are expected to focus on trade and investment, energy security, green transition, defence collaboration, emerging technologies, innovation, and broader geopolitical cooperation.
The multi-nation tour is being viewed as a significant step in expanding India’s global outreach and deepening ties with major international partners amid evolving global economic and strategic challenges.
