Satya Niketan Building Collapse: Students Rescued in Delhi

Satya Niketan Building Collapse in South-West Delhi triggered a major rescue operation after several students were reportedly trapped inside the building.

DUSU President Aryan Maan said approximately 10–15 students had been rescued, while some others were still believed to be inside the structure.

According to Maan, rescue teams were working at the site and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) had arrived to assist with the operation. Fire brigade personnel and JCB machines were also present as authorities continued efforts to reach those who remained trapped.

Rescue Operation Underway at Satya Niketan

The Satya Niketan Building Collapse prompted an immediate response from multiple emergency and rescue teams. DUSU President Aryan Maan said that around 15–20 students were involved in the incident and that several had already been brought out of the building.

Maan said the rescued students were being taken to hospital for medical attention. He added that specific information about their condition was not immediately available.

The rescue operation remained underway as teams worked to determine whether more students were trapped inside.

NDRF Team Reaches the Site

According to Maan, the entire NDRF team had arrived at the location to assist with the rescue effort.

The presence of specialised disaster-response personnel is significant in a building-collapse situation, as rescuers need to carefully search unstable structures and reach people who may be trapped inside.

Other emergency teams were also reportedly on their way to assist.

Students Taken to Hospital

One of the immediate priorities following the Satya Niketan Building Collapse was ensuring that rescued students received medical attention.

Aryan Maan said the rescued students were being taken to hospital. He also said there were no reports of casualties at the time of his statement.

The condition of the rescued students was not immediately known, according to Maan, and further information was expected as medical teams assessed those taken to hospital.
