Shah Rukh Khan shares Independence Day message celebrating India’s diversity and spirit

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan extended warm wishes to the nation on Independence Day, reflecting on what makes being Indian special and celebrating the country’s diversity and collective spirit.

Sharing a message on social media, Khan highlighted India’s “colours, contrasts” and “beautiful differences,” while emphasising the powerful feeling of belonging to something larger than oneself—the nation.

“There’s something special about being Indian... the colours, the contrasts, the beautiful differences, the spirit and above all, the feeling of belonging to something much bigger than ourselves... our Country,” Shah Rukh Khan wrote.

The actor also urged citizens to value what the country has and contribute in their own way towards making India proud.
“May we always value what we have and do our little bit to make our country proud,” he said.

Concluding his message, Khan expressed his pride in being Indian, writing, “Proud to be an Indian and love being one. Jai Hind!”
His Independence Day message comes as India celebrates the spirit of freedom, unity and national pride, with people across the country marking the occasion with patriotic celebrations.
