Reflecting on her journey, Sheetal shared an emotional message on social media, revealing the magnitude of her achievements and the spirit that powered her through every challenge.

“Started the Asian Para Games with belief. Ended with 2 Golds, 1 Silver, 1 World Record equalled, 2 new World Records, and so much more,” she wrote.

Her words describe a campaign in which she won two gold medals and one silver, equalled one world record and set two new world records. The three records were milestones achieved during the competition; they should not be read as three separate world-record titles unless the relevant events and governing-body records are specified. Beyond the medals and records, her performance stands as a powerful testament to the courage, discipline and mental strength required to excel on the international stage.

A Journey of Belief, Resilience and Unwavering Love

Behind every medal lies a journey of sacrifice, preparation, pressure and perseverance. Sheetal acknowledged the highs and the hurdles she encountered throughout the competition, paying tribute to the love and support that remained constant along the way.

“Through the highs, the pressure, every hurdle, and a journey held together by love that never wavered,” she shared.

Her message offered a glimpse into the emotional side of elite sport, where success is built not only through talent and training but also through resilience, belief and the people who stand beside an athlete through every difficult moment.

India at the Heart of Every Triumph

For Sheetal, the defining emotion of her campaign was national pride.
“And at the heart of it all? iNDIA. Every single time.”

Those words carried the spirit of an athlete who sees every achievement as an opportunity to represent her country with pride. Her campaign added another inspiring chapter to India's growing presence in international para-sports, demonstrating how determination and sporting excellence can transcend barriers.

As she signed off with the words, “Signing off with a full heart. It’s a wrap,” Sheetal celebrated more than a successful tournament. She celebrated a journey defined by belief, record-setting performances and the privilege of competing for India.

With two golds, one silver and three record milestones to her name—one world record equalled and two new world records set—Sheetal Devi's Asian Para Games campaign stands as a powerful reminder that the greatest sporting victories are measured not only in medals but also in the inspiration they leave behind.

For Sheetal Devi, the mission was clear: believe, overcome and make India proud. And she did exactly that.
