Suniel Shetty Explores Bihar for 50-60 Day Film Shoot
Bollywood actor and producer Suniel Shetty has expressed interest in shooting a film in Bihar following a meeting with the state’s Chief Minister and officials from the concerned departments.
Speaking after the meeting, Shetty said discussions were held with the entire department regarding the logistics of a proposed shoot that could span approximately 50 to 60 days.
Shetty highlighted Bihar’s newly introduced film-related policies and said the state is increasingly emerging as an attractive destination for filmmakers.
“We want to come here for a shoot. Since new film-related policies have been introduced and Bihar is emerging as a major destination for filming, we came to discuss the logistics of a shoot that will span about 50 to 60 days,” Shetty said.
The actor-producer also praised the Chief Minister’s response, describing it as highly positive and supportive of efforts to bring industries to Bihar.
According to Shetty, the Chief Minister is keen to encourage industrial growth and create an environment where different industries can establish a stronger presence in the state.
“The response of the CM has been very positive. He is positive about everything, including growth; he wants industries to come here,” Shetty said.
Shetty added that the Chief Minister’s support for the film industry and other sectors gives him confidence that the proposed project could move forward.
The potential film shoot could further boost Bihar’s efforts to position itself as a destination for Bollywood and other film productions, while also generating opportunities for local talent, technicians and businesses connected to the entertainment industry.
